SBI UPI, NETBANKING, SBI YONO APP AND CREDIT CARD NOT WORKING
Country's largest bank State Bank of India (SBI) offers a wide range of online payment services including Unified Payments Interface (UPI) platform, credit card, nebanking, SBI YONO app to its customers. SBI maintains Governement accounts and provides all popular digital banking payment services to the entire nation. However, several SBI customers reported issues with net banking and UPI on 3rd April, 23. They took to microblogging site, Twitter to express their frustration with the slow service. As per customers, the server is down or non-responsive services, including net banking, UPI payments, credit card and the official SBI app (YONO). Downdetector, the website that tracks outages globally, has also reported the issue with SBI. The website reported a similar issue with the bank on Sunday (2nd April,23) too.
As per the statement from SBI, services will be down due to the annual closing activity, but it was stated by the bank, that the service will only be off from 13:30hrs to 16:45 hrs on 1st April, 23. However the services remained down on 2nd and 3rd April, 23 also for few hours.
The reason behind the this is the technical glitches in the system. Technical glitches can occur due to a variety of reasons, including server overload, software malfunction, or coding errors. In such cases, users need to wait until the technical issue is resolved by SBI's IT team. Typically, SBI resolves technical issues within a few hours, and users can then use the online payment services without any problems.
Digital services at the State Bank of India were impacted for a few hours due to a glitch on Monday and later restored. According to customers, all the online services offered by the SBI were reportedly down due to problems in the bank's servers since morning.
"We regret to inform you that due to a 'technical glitch', some of our digital services were impacted for a few hours on April 03, 2023. However, the issue stands resolved, and the digital services are live and restored," SBI said in a statement. "We apologize for the inconvenience to our valued customers.
The bank is always working toward implementing measures to prevent such occurrences. We thank you for your patience and continued trust in SBI," it added.

एसबीआई के बयान के अनुसार, वार्षिक समापन गतिविधि के कारण सेवाएं बंद रहेंगी, लेकिन बैंक द्वारा यह कहा गया कि सेवा केवल 1 अप्रैल, 23 को 13:30 बजे से 16:45 बजे तक बंद रहेगी। हालांकि, 2 और 3 अप्रैल, 23 को भी कुछ घंटों के लिए सेवाएं बंद रहीं।
इसके पीछे का कारण सिस्टम में तकनीकी खराबी है। सर्वर ओवरलोड, सॉफ़्टवेयर की खराबी, या कोडिंग त्रुटियों सहित कई कारणों से तकनीकी गड़बड़ियाँ हो सकती हैं। ऐसे मामलों में, उपयोगकर्ताओं को एसबीआई की आईटी टीम द्वारा तकनीकी समस्या का समाधान होने तक प्रतीक्षा करने की आवश्यकता होती है। आमतौर पर, एसबीआई कुछ घंटों के भीतर तकनीकी समस्याओं का समाधान कर देता है, और फिर उपयोगकर्ता बिना किसी समस्या के ऑनलाइन भुगतान सेवाओं का उपयोग कर सकते हैं।
भारतीय स्टेट बैंक की डिजिटल सेवाएं सोमवार को खराबी के कारण कुछ घंटों के लिए प्रभावित रहीं और बाद में बहाल कर दी गईं। ग्राहकों के अनुसार, सुबह से ही बैंक के सर्वर में दिक्कत के कारण एसबीआई द्वारा दी जाने वाली सभी ऑनलाइन सेवाएं कथित तौर पर बंद थीं.
"हमें आपको यह सूचित करने के लिए खेद है कि 'तकनीकी गड़बड़ी' के कारण, 03 अप्रैल, 2023 को हमारी कुछ डिजिटल सेवाएं कुछ घंटों के लिए प्रभावित हुई थीं। हालांकि, समस्या हल हो गई है, और डिजिटल सेवाएं लाइव और बहाल हैं," एसबीआई एक बयान में कहा। "हम अपने मूल्यवान ग्राहकों को हुई असुविधा के लिए क्षमा चाहते हैं।
